ANN LANDERS' MEATLOAF

  • 1 pound ground beef or ground chuck
  • 1 pound ground pork (Jimmie Dean's Sage sausage is good!)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 sleeve of Ritz crackers, crunched up
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 package of Lipton's dry onion soup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Add all to a mixing bowl and mix together thoroughly. Shape into loaf or press into bread pan. You can lay a few strips of bacon on top for extra flavor. Bake 1 1/2 - 2 hours (if you split into 2 loaves - much faster, about an hour). Serves 6-8.
